mod_php and php are merged in php4.3.something 4? mod_php (libphp4.so) comes with the php installation also php is past 4.3.3 maybe update your ports tree for info on that look at: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/cvsup.html > Hi. I'm new to FreeBSD, and I'm trying to get a default install of > mod_php4-4.3.3,1 running with pear-4.3.3. When I do make install in the > pear ports directory, it installs php4-4.3.3 automatically. Then, if I > try to install mod_php4-4.3.3,1 the same way, I get the following: > > ===> Installing for mod_php4-4.3.3,1 > ===> mod_php4-4.3.3,1 conflicts with installed package(s): > php4-4.3.3 > > They install files into the same place. > Please remove them first with pkg_delete(1). > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/www/mod_php4. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/www/mod_php4. > > ** > The same thing happens with php4-4.3.3 if I install mod_php4-4.3.3,1 > first. > > Thanks in advance for your help. > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" hope this helps mario;> - - - - - - - - House Of Sites - - - - - - - - Web Design :: Programming :: Hosting :: Maintenance Web site: http://www.HouseOfSites.net Email: mario@HouseOfSites.net Tel: 415-242-3376 ---------------------------------------------------- Do you schmut!? http://www.schmut.com http://blog.schmut.com
