well, i am trying to connect to an ascend terninal server with an adtran express XR. using term, i can connect, the green light goes on, and iam *Connected! but i get no login message back, and it just hangs (^c doesn't break out). i can break out by killing the x-server wit ^-alt-backslash. i set logging, obtain set log +phase +chat +lcp +ipcp +ccp the output of the ppp.log file is: Jul 4 12:48:21 neutrino ppp[224]: Phase: Using interface: tun0 Jul 4 12:48:21 neutrino ppp[224]: Phase: PPP Started. Jul 4 12:48:39 neutrino ppp[224]: Phase: *Connected! Jul 4 12:48:56 neutrino ppp[224]: Phase: Signal 1, terminate.
