yep it's free

you have 2 options
1/ load it off the net
if you have a ppp account you can do this automatically
as the BSD boot disk can boot then load the rest of itself down off the
net. 
2/ There is a CDROM availabel for about $30 (ish)

it's a UNIX lookalike

you need a separate partition on the disk for it..
NOT an extended partition..
