HELP!

SYSTEM:

FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE
Cyclom 8Yo+ IDE multiport serial card
Wyse 60 terminal connected on /dev/ttyc0 (Port 1 on the
  Cyclom card)

SYMPTOM:

I see the following message on the console after rebooting or
after `kill -HUP 1':

getty: tcgetattr /dev/ttyc0: Inappropriate ioctl for device

This is followed by:

init: getty repeating too quickly on port /dev/ttyc0, sleeping
30 secs

This happens whether or not the terminal is connected.

CONFIGURATION:

On bootup, cy0 is detected properly:

cy0 irq 10 maddr 0xd4000 msize 8192 on isa

As root in /dev, I have already run:

./MAKEDEV ttyc0

My /etc/ttys entry is:

ttyc0 "/usr/libexec/getty std.9600" wy60 on insecure
