Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hello World ! Some days ago I tried to write a driver for the ESS Solo 1 sound chip. Some years ago I've read the book from Egan / Teixera, but many things have changed since. I haven't found a lot of documentation except the sources (Thank God). Is there any documentation available ? Will the 4.4 BSD Book help ? The 4.3 Book didn't have an in depth discussion about that matter. Any pointers are apreciated. If there is interest, I would like to write a small chapter about this.
