I'm sorry, I don't truly understand your question. Is there some specific feature of rcNG that you want to use in your script, or do you just want to make sure it will still run under rcNG? If the latter, you're covered, since ports startup scripts are still executed from /usr/local/etc/rc.d just like they always were. If I missed the point of your question, please elaborate.
