whenever i try to mount a samba share on freebsd-4.5 i get the following
error:

can't get handle to requester (no /dev/nsmb* device)

what do i need to do to be able to mount samba shares? i have done this on
linux in the past, and i remeber it being tricky if you've never done it
before, but pretty simple once you figure it out. what am i doing wrong?

the command i'm using is "mount_smbfs -I 172.16.33.3
//nathan@172.16.33.3/Everybody smb" where 172.16.33.3 is the server, nathan
is the user name and Everybody is the name share, and smb is the local
directory that i want to use as the mount point. i googled for awhile, but
didn't find anything in english that was helpful

nathan
