Yes. But every single one of the kde-i18n-* _packages_ will be needlessly rebuilt by the ports cluster, the packages will needlessly replace the earlier (identical) version on the packages sites and will, eventually be needlessly redownloaded by thousands of people, who use portsupgrade, or will themselves think, that the new PORTREVISION avtually means something. = >Most (probably, ALL) of the Makefiles you modified LIB_DEPEND on intl.X = >bogusly in the first place. He is not a KDE user/maintainer to know, that none of the i18n ports need the lib-dependency in the first place. You are, however... And so is will, who introduced the bogus LIB-dependency in April 2002. I know, that you guys are busy with the Really Important Stuff [TM], but that does not mean you can deny the obvious just because you perceive it as too unimportant. = >Please, consider committing a real fix, but don't modify the = >PORTREVISION again :-) = I had a specific result in mind, and I accomplished it. Done deal. I = have the authority from will to make commits, using my best judgement. = I made my decision. I was forced to do something quickly because of = Ade's surprise commit. None of the kde-i18n ports broke because of Ade's surprise commit. = Now, please drop this. It has ceased to be even the least bit = productive. I have real problems to attend to; this is not one of them. Please, change the LIB_DEPENDS to BUILD_DEPENDS in those ports, or tell me, why I should not do that. That would be quite productive and will prevent this issue from coming up again. Thank you. -mi -- Как, Вы разве без шпаги пришли?
