Subject:   making 3 drives look like one

I have 3 IDE hard drives and FreeBSD 3.4 installed on the primary master 
and I was wondering how to make all three hard drives appear to be one big 
hard drive? I think RAID can do this but I don't have any raid components...

Can you tell me or point me to a website?
