Right. I thought at the time I said that config -d would cover this
case. And it was hard to do for day to day development.
I'd be willing to do something like a make obj target to the make
process. However, I'm not sure of the value of doing that. It
wouldn't be that hard to do, but is certain much more radical than the
minor move that I did.
