As long as you provide a way for halting without powering down then I don't really care. I have a power managed machine and I _do_not_ want it to power down when I halt it. At least the "-p == power down" and "-h == halt" argument provides me with both the options I need. Your option removes the very option that I want, with no replacement mechanism.
