Before we agree to something, we need to *see* it in action.  That means
we need to see a prototype before we can accept it as a standard.  Then,
after a period of time which includes people beating on it and Jordan
agrees it's a 'Good thing' it will be agreed, and step 3 can occur.

No offense, but it's really easy to find a solution that doesn't 'quite'
work.  The direction it heads is better, but if it doesn't do everything
it needs to do it's not a complete solution.

Show it off on thud first, and then we can see the wonderfulness of your
solution. :-)
