Can you reproduce the problem with WITNESS and INVARIANTS enabled? It's probably a deadlock, and WITNESS is quite good at identifying potential deadlocks. WITNESS sends its output to the console, so make sure that you're watching it as you try to reproduce the freeze. Ryan
