There is definitely no articles, manuals, etc. at all about this question. I have freeBSD 4.5 on supermicro 370der+ mainboard. I need to print from this server to USB HP Laser Jet 1200. Durin' boot up process (or entering dmesg) i can see this line: ugen0: HewLett Packard HP LaserJet 1200, rev 1.10/1.00, addr 2. So, i've made a usual section in the /etc/printcap file by adding this device. Then i try to print out something by this command: lptest | lpr The freeBSD is reporting: printing in process. I don't see any errors or warnings at all! And my printer don't want to do anything. Who on earth can help me? (i've tested this printer on another PC under Windows - everythin is ok). -- Thanks in advance, Tim To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
