I gather that there may be some issues with the newer AMD CPUs or Via
chip sets, (or was that Via chip sets and various brands of hard drives)
and running FreeBSD.

What specific combinations of new AMD CPU (say 800 MHz and up),
motherboards and hard drive are generally considered safe for a FreeBSD
box?


Are there any combinations that are known to be bad?
