I'm sorry to say, but i doubt anybody is going to write a driver for
this type of devices anytime soon.

Given the crippled design of the standard parallel port, and the fact
that the cheapest full-featured SCSI controller (NCR 53C810) is about
US$ 80 these days, i doubt any effort in this area would really pay
off (unless you're in the business of selling faster CPUs, of course
:).
