You'll get all information about your memory stick after you have 
connected it in /var/log/messages, e.g. its manufacturer, model and the 
device name (da0): "tail /var/log/messages".

The nodes of the partitions will be created dynamically in /dev too. 
Just type "ls -l /dev/da0*" to see them.
