I got it all fixed now thanks for your help guys.... because i shut down at the login prompt i had to do this: #fsck <----cleaned my file system #mount -u / #mount -a #passwd root -Chris To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
