I am in the closing stages of setting up my internet gateway for DNS.

The address of the primary name server is

When I run nslookup to check things out, it's ok if I specify a
server address of 0, but fails if I give the 'real' address of

bash$ nslookup - 0
Default Server:

bash$ nslookup -
*** Can't find server name for address Non-existent host/domain
*** Default servers are not available

Can anybody suggest a likely cause for the above ?

Greg Laslett.
