I didn't know about this. There were a couple of factual problems with this article. In particular, it mentions using /dev/wd0s1e and /dev/wd1s1f for the drives; this didn't work in conjunction with the 'start' command at the time, though it does now for 3.3-RELEASE. I don't recommend to have the device names end in a-h; instead, I recommend to use the -v option for newfs. It's conceivable that I once wrote something like that as a recommendation before newfs got the -v option, but if it's still there, I'd like a pointer. > this is a little more reader friendly....I now have the basics down > and can refer to the lemis website for specifics. The real problem with this article is that it is incomplete. It doesn't tell you how to build a mirror.
