Is there a more > stable (pun not intended) way to refer to a particular mailing list > message? Yes, by message-ID. Although in this case the URL: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/mid.cgi?id=XFMail.20020731162333.re@FreeBSD.org&db=mid (may wrap) points to two messages since it was sent to two lists. So, this may or may not be desired. The other option is to wait until Sunday and after the archive has been rotated, going back and change it, it shouldn't cahnge after that afaik. More work, this one, a bit more confusing to non-archive users the previous one. I had this problem too when posting news to the Hungarian BUG home page recently: I opted for the second method ("wait till Sunday") -- Regards: Szilveszter ADAM Szombathely Hungary To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
