I think there is something special I need to type at the " boot: " prompt. Is that correct? You can try to boot it manually by typing sd(1,a)/kernel at the Boot: prompt. > I have read several BSD news postings that discribe similiar problems, and that prompted me to make sure my geometry and partitions are set correctly. You may want to try making a small DOS partition on that disk, then delete that partition and make the FBSD partition over it.
