Hi Zoran,

yes, I just checked this. At the time the big "ThinkPad" logo is shown 
at cold start, I am able to use Fn+F8/F9 to tune brightness.

As mentioned in current@, there is a workaround for the X121e to do this 
at runtime, by using sysutils/acpi_call, e.g.

# acpi_call -p '\VBRU'            (brightness up one step)
# acpi_call -p '\VBRD'            (brightness down one stop)
