Ppp tries to figure out the MAC address of the interface with the
current value of MYADDR. MYADDR defaults to `hostname`. If you've
done a ``set ifaddr'' or if `hostname` isn't in your NICs netmask,
ppp won't match it.
So, ppp should normally find your NIC if you use ``set enddisc''
before ``set ifaddr''.
