Michael,

I just added the above to my /etc/make.conf and have started to rebuild
kde2.  Thanks for the tip.

| licq (with the qt-gui) works when invoked with 'licq -- -noxim'
I always invoke licq -- -nnoxim and it core dumps.  I have tried
both ways.  It'll eventually work its way out:-)

Thanks again.  I sure hope that kde runs:-)
