Are you planning on ever doing future vendor imports? If not, this was the wrong thing to do. The internal diffs in the ,v files from 1.1.1.x -> 1.2 (as happened on all those files you changed the $Id$'s on) are larger than a normal 1.1->1.2. We stopped importing new ports and started just 'cvs add'ing them because the usage of 'cvs import' there was just wrong.
