I have FreeBSD 5.0 server with 3 nicks(vr[0-2[]). I have vr0 set as a
static address on my "internal" network. I want to set up vr1 with a
static address for my external address. When I go to configure vr1 with
an IP address I get
Ifconfig vr1 172.16.16.1
Ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): File exists

What does this mean and how do I fix it?
