I get similar error when trying to open text/enriched emails. mutt creates a temprorary file under /tmp until it fills the partition, then I get /tmp: write failed, filesystem is full If I'm able to exit mutt normally, the file is deleted automatically. If I kill mutt process I can see huge mutt-<something> file under /tmp. I reported this in http://unix.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/FreeBSD/questions/2009-09/msg00502.html I think this must be a bug since text/enriched is supposed to be supported automatically in mutt.
