I think just using,

  # ifconfig fxp0 inet xxx.25.134.3 netmask 255.255.255.255 alias

Is the better way to go for that. It does the route for you.

. Thanks! If I already have those aliased in rc.conf, like

ifconfig_fxp0_alias0="inet xxx.65.57.3  netmask 255.255.255.0"

would I still need the manual ifconfig statements?
