Subject: Current, Satellite 1555-CDS and CPU/System Fan (ACPI)

I installed -current (by installing -release, and then cvsup'ing,
buildworld'ing, etc) on my Satellite 1555CDS the other day to try and get a
netcard working, and generally just for the hell of it. Everything boots
fine with ppcbb and cardbus added to the kernel [both with and without it].
I've attached the dmesg output below.

My problem is, the thing seems to overheat, and the internal system fan
won't kick in. I can do a 'sysctl -w hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.active=1', and
that causes the fan to kick in for about 2 seconds, then it will stop, and
restart, along with this message on the console:

acpi_tz0: switched from _AC-1 to _AC1

and will continue to kick the fan on/off in at about 3-4 second intervals.
It's getting quite hot in there, the fan runs under 2k a lot. Is there a
way to just leave the thing running all of the time? (or just to fix the
"tripping" process..)

Thanks,
- Flint
