I tried setting the volume lower with the "mixer" command, but it didnt change the volume (even though it changed the setting). Heres my sound card info from dmesg: pcm0: port 0xbc00-0xbcff irq 11 at device 17.5 on pci0 pcm0: I'd appreciate any help you could provide.
