I'm trying to track down a DNS lookup failure that seems to be specific to FreeBSD. The site in question is www.wtime.net. Doing an nslookup on it is fine, but gethostbyname and getaddrinfo both fail on this - telnet fails, for example. I've tried with Solaris and Tru64, and both of them seem to have no problem.
