 i have not used cvs.

 well, i did:)
 the configure script for glib looks for pkg-config, but
it does not like the version 0.14 needs at least 0.15,
right now i cant reproduce it to paste the exact message,
but it was the usual failure in configure script.
 nothing strange, i guess every one who has pkg-config installed
in version <=0.14 sees this error because the build process of
glib does not install pkg-config.
