It's a very fine line since the WC CDs are made using publically available sources, but some work does go into the organization and collation process and we prefer that people not simply clone this unless it's purely for PR purposes. Otherwise we'd be sending the message that any small CD publisher was free to just subscribe to the Walnut Creek CDROM product and start duping the first set they got in the mail for resale at $10 a copy or something. Of course, this would also be insane since few people honestly make money at that price-point and it's not as bad as it sounds even when it does happen since all the re-order information on the CD will still point to Walnut Creek CDROM, leading a lot of the reorders in our direction. Still, it's easier and better all around if people just take the 2-3 hours required to actually create their own images and thus not enter into any potential issues at all. Everything but segregating the packages is a total no-brainer, and even segregating packages can be easily done if you just ask Steve Price for the script he uses :) - Jordan To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
