>Description:

Log-in/log-out information in /var/log/wtmp is not kept across month boudaries; meaning that if a user logs in on say 31 October and logs out on 1 November, and the monthly cron run file rotation takes place in between, then the record for that user in October's wtmp file (now wtmp.0) will not reflect the user's log-out in November, and neither will the November (current) wtmp file.

>How-To-Repeat:

Log-in before the end of a given month, and log-out in the next month.

>Fix:

Is this a bug? Or is this a "feature"? In either case, it would be nice to have complete login/logout information in /var/log/wtmp.
