Hi there.

Im attempting to install 2.2.7 from the CD's. I get through the
installation fine, until it boots and tries to mount the root
partition.
I get these messages on boot with the -v flag:
npx0:flags 0x1 on motherboard
npx0:INT 16 interface

Then the system reboots. At first I thought it was because I had LBA
turned off in the BIOS, but once I'd turned that off, and re-installed
(re-making the f/s) it happened again.

I am trying to install on a Cyrix 200M2 with 64Mb SDRAM, 24x Panasonic
CDROM (primary slave), LS-120 Floptical (secondary slave), an 8.4Gb
Quantum (primary master) and a 2.1Gb drive (secondary master). I'm
trying to install onto the 2.1Gig drive. I'm booting from the
floptical using a 1.44 Mb floppy for the install and then changing the
boot drive to the 2.1 G drive for using FBSD. I don't want to install
the FBSD boot manager as I have NT on the 8.4G and I need to keep that
there, and I prefer the NT boot loader.

Please help. I've no idea what could be causing this. Please reply to
me directly as well as to the list, as I'm not subscribed for the
reason of keeping my phone bill small. :)

HAND.
