It allows you to create derivative works without owing your changes back to the project, to distribute your work as you see fit, etc. The only substantive difference between their license and the Berkeley one we all hold so dear is the termination clauses and mechanism for handling intellectual property disputes, which is probably wise for everyone considered. -- "Where am I, and what am I doing in this handbasket?"
