FWIW, yes, me too.

This would make the process of upgrading much easier (build the
system on another partition and make it bootable, with fallback
to the untouched original should problems occur), and finally I
could build and maintain the machine running the RELENG_2_2 code
via nfs to a -current box which has CPU/RAM with a lot more beef
than that 2.2 box has in it. :-)
