I have one. See http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=freebsd-mobile&m=105126064020450&w=2 Anyways, here's what i found out after three days of owning the machine: 1. Integrated Ethernet Adapter - Broadcom 440X: Not supported at all in freebsd. Led to me buying a PCMCIA card which led to the issues in the URL above 2. Integrated SoundCard - Intel AC97: Not supported. Have been told I should look into OpenSound. Need to investigate this further 3. Integrated Modem: Not supported 4. NVidia GeForce4 440 Go: Supported in XFree86 and configured with minimal fuss. However, am having trouble in configuring the Screens to fit the Widescreen resolutions (screens are displayed with large black borders to the left and right) Apart from the above, everything works like a charm and the machine's raw speed and power is a joy to behold. As a mobile development machine, i rate (1) highly, and (4) as highly desirable. Anyone knows how to get the X working in widescreen format? -- Al-Afu Webcraft Solutions - http://www.webcraftsolutions.com -------------------------------------- It's not so hard to lift yourself by your bootstraps once you're off the ground. -- Daniel B.
