I bought the Walnut Creek CD-Rom with FreeBSD 2.1. I made the installation and I discovered that I had problems with my mouse PS/2 and my CD Rom Mitsumi FX 600 ATAPI. A managed to make the installation from the hard disk and I reconfigured the Kernel including the Mouse "psm0 etc etc etc ... ". Now I want to try the X windows system, so I configured the XF86config file. When I ran startx it gets completely blocked the system but when I ran xdm, by some magic thing as soon as I get the login interface I press Ctrl-C and it works, but when I login, I get a nice xterm but without the frame that allows to operate it with the mouse. I do not know how the system looks when it is correctly installed but I am sure it is better that what I have in my screen. I was thinking that my problem was the setup in the .xsession file, then I made a very simple one, because I could not find the one in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit or something like this. Could anybody send my an example of his .xsession file? and perhaps a clue of what's going on in my system, because I think I am going to give up about installing FreeBSD.
