After that, upon new attach the kernel would not register the device and a detach made my box to reboot (EPIA-M9000). I just cvsup'ed today a had another try with, now it no longer registers the device. If I can help in doing so more tests feel free to tell me, my kernel is compiled with USB & CAM debug. *** A few seconds after attach: blackbox# camcontrol devlist -v scbus0 on umass-sim0 bus 0: < > at scbus0 target 0 lun 0 (probe0) < > at scbus0 target -1 lun -1 () scbus-1 on xpt0 bus 0: < > at scbus-1 target -1 lun -1 (xpt0) blackbox# camcontrol rescan 0 ^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C *** After a very looooong rescan: blackbox# camcontrol devlist -v scbus0 on umass-sim0 bus 0: scbus-1 on xpt0 bus 0: < > at scbus-1 target -1 lun -1 (xpt0) *** Relevant syslog: May 7 19:43:49 blackbox /kernel: uhub_explore: status change hub=2 port=2 May 7 19:43:49 blackbox /kernel: umass0: Intelligent Stick Intelligent Stick, r ev 1.10/1.00, addr 3, SCSI over Bulk-Only May 7 19:43:49 blackbox /kernel: umass0:0:0:-1: Attached to scbus0 as device 0 May 7 19:44:54 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0dc4300 May 7 19:44:54 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0dc4300 May 7 19:44:54 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0dc4300 May 7 19:45:59 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:45:59 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:45:59 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:47:04 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:47:04 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:47:04 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:48:29 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:48:29 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:48:29 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:49:34 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:49:34 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:49:34 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:50:39 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:50:39 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:50:39 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:51:44 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:51:44 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:51:44 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:52:49 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:52:49 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:52:49 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:53:54 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:53:54 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:53:55 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:55:00 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout: uxfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:55:00 blackbox /kernel: uhci_timeout_task: xfer=0xc0b6dd00 May 7 19:55:00 blackbox /kernel: uhci_check_intr: aborted xfer=0xc0b6dd00
