I think a more accurate term would be "obsoleted".

FYI, swapinfo has been gone from NetBSD for a long time.  Well over a
year, if I remember correctly.  It wasn't really a big deal when it
went, either.  Pstat is a standard BSD-ism; swapinfo is not.  I'm not
sure what all the hoopla is about.
