I get those stray irq 7 message all the time. I have the irq 7 - printer port turned off in my system bios, the kernel has been compiled with the printer irq 7 commented out, I have no sound card on the system, other than the ide hard drive and one nic card the only thing remaining is the external modem plugged into the com1 port. This looks and acts like a bug in the sio handler. It has been around a long time. There is a explanation for the stray irq 7 message in the FBSD FAQ at FreeBSD.org that sounds like a programmer who doesn't want to take the time to research and fix the darn thing. I am not quite sure, but I think this happens since I upgraded to a newer version of apsfilter??
