Hi folks,

I've been watching a bunch of laptops on eBay for a while, looking for
something decent in the AU$350-500 range. Among others including Compaq
Evo 610c and various IBMs (R31, R40) there have been a fair few T30s for
sale lately that, on the face of it, look suitable to my needs.

I've checked out what I can in posts to FLCL, though they're all a bit
old. I'm particularly concerned with the status of ACPI (&/or APM) on
these, most especially ability to unfailingly suspend / resume (to RAM),
as I often use my laptop on battery in the field, and suspend overnight
(on 12V solar power here) so this functionality is essential for me, and
one reason I've kept my old Compaq 1500c going (APM works properly)

I've noted with some dismay many posts here saying suspend/resume is
often the ONE thing not working properly, and (fair enough) most people
don't care about that. Can anyone report positive results on this?

Cheers, Ian
