Lend a hand where needed... answer FreeBSD-Questions mailing list, write
ports, look at and work on the various projects
(http://www.freebsd.org/projects/), contribute possible patches to
documentation, man pages, kernel source, and so forth.  Basically, look at
http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/contrib.html
