The log file has openmode active and is not the receiving system....
Your log file basically says "wait for connect, then start sending
LCP packets". The LCP packets are never replied to, so I'd suspect
you're missing a login/password bit ?
What happens when you connect using `term' in ppp ? Do you get a
login prompt ?
