There are examples how to do this in the dpdk docs , they show how to do this in the case of a nic . It should apply to all devices. Lastly most vendors support turning the device off in bios or Uefi . Thanks; turns out adding -q to devd_flags solves this for me. I didn't try it before because a found an old post that said it *didn't* work. But it does. Craig
