Hello, I am looking at buying a laptop, and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences (good or bad) that they would care to share with regards to hardware compatibility. Video problems? NIC problems? Etc. Is it better to have a separate pcmcia card for modem and lan or are the combo cards ok? Is there a brand of lan cards that people have had problems getting running under FreeBSD?
