He's very knowledgeable. While he might be a bit too busy to be a "mentor", I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem pointing you in the right direction(s) if you have questions about ports. He'll most likely reply to this with what he thinks about it... Other than that, I can always help out as much as I can with questions if you want to email me directly about your port. I know the ins-and-outs about porting and I'd be more than happy to lend a hand.
