Someone removed your /dev/null; then it became a regular file the next time root wrote to it. I had this happen when I did a "fetch -o /dev/null" as root and interrupted it in the middle; fetch removed /dev/null since it was only a partially transferred file =) Bill To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
